Raku firing workshop by Adil Ghani - 3 Days ( Advanced )

Welcome to my 3 Day advance raku firing workshop. In this workshop you will learn the theory, technique and principles behind raku firing. This workshop dives in to the hands on experience of making raku fired pieces. You will be taught 3 different raku techniques :

• Copper Matte
• Obvara
• Smoked Raku

• Smoked Raku demo and brief
• Obvara raku demo and brief
• Review of the day

Workshop flow day 3 ( Full Day with 1 hour break ) : 

• Continuation of firing
• Debrief
• Issue Resolution
• Summary

Requirement : 

For you to participate in this workshop, you must already have experience as a potter and understand the basics of bisque ware, glazing, firing and clay.

Please note that raku is a unpredictable process. There is always risk of breakage and damage during the process. All required safety gear will be provided.
